One-time discounts are used for various marketing purposes and can be set up for a single customer or multiple customers.

This use case applies to offering a one-time discount to a specific customer or end user, either to resolve a customer service issue or as a special promotion targeted at new, specific customers, such as those in B2B transactions.

Step-By-Step Guide
- Login to the Magento Admin Console
- In the left column, click on Marketing -> Cart Price Rules
- Click on the Orange button in the top right corner of the page entitled "Add New Rule"
- Give the rule a specific name, allowing others to understand for whom the rule was created. Provide additional description explaining why the rule was created. This is useful when time has passed and rules can be cleaned up by others.
- Required: Select the website where the discount should apply. You may select multiple sites. For B2B customers, it's best to select both warehouse and dropship websites.
